Before you can apply for the energy efficiency notification obligation, you must have eHerkenning. This is the business DigiD of the RVO.
You can request eHerkenning from one of the providers of the tax authorities.
Important: an application for eHerkenning takes an average of 3 working days. If you request eHerkenning urgently, this will be within 24 hours, but there will be additional costs involved.

Then read the introduction carefully and fill in your details.

After you have entered your company details, you must choose an industry. Make sure you choose the right industry. This is important for the continuation of the notification obligation. You can find the right industry in our EML lists.
Then you will get the measures of the chosen industry. On average, these are more than 50 questions.
When filling in, pay close attention to the preconditions (both economic and technical) and the starting situation. You can find this by clicking on the ‘more information’ button.

For each measure it is also indicates whether it can be taken at an independent moment or a natural moment.
Independent moment means that this measure is profitable at any time that the measure is implemented. This means that this measure must be implemented within one year.
Natural moment means that this measure is only profitable when a renovation or conversion is required. In other words, you have to wait with this measure until you start renovating or rebuilding, unless this is within five years.
If you are confident you have all the questions right, you can check the report. Make sure you have not skipped any measures and check your data carefully. Then press check and send. You hereby indicate that you have filled in everything truthfully and that the RVO has permission to use your data for the continuation of the information obligation.
You will then receive a confirmation from the RVO with the corresponding IP number. This is the correspondence number that you use when you have questions to the RVO.
